Terms

These terms apply from 31 October 2026. Spotter is run by Spotter Pty Ltd, a South African company.

Who can sign up

A personal trainer who is 18 or older can sign up. Your clients do not sign up. They get a link from you and agree to these terms when they join.

What Spotter is

Spotter keeps your clients' programmes, sessions, check-ins, meal plans and invoices, on your phone and on theirs. The training and nutrition advice you give is yours. Spotter gives no advice and is not responsible for how a client trains or eats.

Plans and prices

Standard is free. Online is R295 a month. Nutrition is R395 a month on top of Online. Assistant is not for sale yet. Prices are in rand and include VAT where it applies. You can cancel Online or Nutrition at any time. You keep everything on Standard. We can change a price with 30 days' notice by email.

Your clients

You are responsible for your clients' information in Spotter and for having their consent to keep it. Our privacy policy says what we keep and how. Add only people you train.

Using Spotter

• Keep your sign-in to yourself. Anyone who signs in as you can see everything you can.
• Do not copy data out of Spotter by script or any other way the app does not offer.
• Do not use Spotter to send anything unlawful or to harass anyone.

Pausing and ending an account

We can pause an account that breaks these terms. We tell you why, and you can reply. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. Everything you and your clients have in Spotter is deleted within 30 days. We export it for you first if you ask.

Liability

We keep Spotter running and your data safe as well as we can, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never lose data. If something we did causes you a loss, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Law

South African law applies to these terms.
